New Year Resolutions

2010 isn't exactly a smooth sailing year for me.
In fact, it was nowhere near good.
It was a mountain climb compare to a walk in the park.
So much thing have happened.
Good and bad.
Lets sum thing up!

Jan
It was a drastic month. My mother suffered depression and it was a downturn for me.
I was at a complete loss.
But still I was able to stay strong due to my support of my dearest family and friends.
It might be a little late but I really have to thank those who where at my side when I was helpless.

Feb
Got myself a job! En-boiled myself in work life while studying. It could be done!
Working in secret recipe was definitely a choice I would never regret! It broke my previous record in Daiso(2 months)! 9 months and counting! Hwaiting!!

March
Release of my first year result. It wasn't great nor bad but I cant complain if I give it my all. Posted to TPS (Tourism Products and Services).

April
Officially a year 2 student at ITE Bishan. This time round I have to strive harder in both studies and work!

May
Got 'absorb' into K-pop by Putri! Was completely mesmerize by DBSK!

Jun
I devoted myself to work! Work throughout most of the holidays. Bonded with my colleagues and began to love every single moment of work!
Oh yes, working for 13 hrs wasn't that bad. Just suffered minor leg aches =)

Jul
Went to Universal Studios Singapore! It was awesome. The price is steep but worth every single cent!
Attended Lynette's CO concert and think she is kinda cool if she doesn't whack me! Heh.

Aug
It was the YOG period. I had fun and made many new friends! It was an experience I want to remember volunteering for YOG. Never thought Singapore could put something so big off! I felt honored to part of the team!

Sep
Was hectic! 3 major event awaits me this very month. First, my mid-semester exams. It was rewarding as I've achieved good results.
Second, I was a Grandstand official for F1. It was crazy and no joke standing under the sun for 10 hrs straight for 3 consecutive days. Aftermath? Suffered a fever of 38 degrees! Worse, I had only a day to recover.
Reason being?
I have to catch a flight to Seoul! Yes. Third, my trip to Seoul! I wished I could stop time how can I complain since I enjoy every moment except the food?

Oct
Its my month! That's not all.
The best birthday present?
I got to see SNSD!
Even though I my seat was way at the back, but compare to those who can't get the tickets I could at least hear them live.
I completely lost my mind hearing them sing!
My birthday wish?
Please come again and this time I WILL get the front seats!

Nov
Finally comes a month that I have little to worry about.
Met up with Lynette and Christina Chong.
Haven seen them for a while and it was refreshing to go out with them.

Wow. So much things have happen this year.
I have gone through many up and down and I believe all this things god put me through will make me a better person.
I have shortcoming that I'll have to overcome.
I have to strive for my happiness.
These will be my new year resolution!

K-pop Night 2010

FT Island,The Boss,ZE:A,Infinite,Shinee,SNSD,Big Bang.
7 kpop groups.
One Awesome night!
It was a blast today!
I completely lose my mind when SNSD performed!
They were fantastic.
I kinda regret I didn't get the front seat.
If I did,
I'll die without regrets!
But still I enjoyed even though I cant really see them!
SNSD Jjang!!

K-Popped!

I'm back from Seoul.
It has been a fruitful trip because...
I brought lot's of things!
The best part?
They are all made from Korea!
I got myself Soshi Goodies! Yeah!
Got 3 of their albums.
And 4 free big poster!
Soshi socks (with their faces on the socks).
So cute!
And lot's of good stuff!
I'm so happy!

YOG

Man! YOG was a blast!
At first I thought it was a crappy setup.
But I was too judgmental!
It was super fun.
I've met marvelous athletes and made many friends throughout this entire period!
It was quite an experience!

Girls Generation / SNSD / So Nyu Shi Dae

Girls Generation - Standing: Taeyeon, Hyoyeon, Sooyoung, Sunny, Jessica
Sitting: Tiffany, Seohyun, Yoona and Yuri

I was never in to K-pop Girls bands. To be Honest, I was searching for 2pm and I came upon the Cabi song and there it started the SNSD craze!
I like all of them together like DBSK. They are at their best when they are together.
However, if i really have to choose, my favorite 3 would be :

1) Yoona, Im Yoon A, 20

Man she is the reason I notice SNSD in the first place! She is a really good dancer! In my view, she is the 2nd best dancer in SNSD after Hyoyeon. I had no idea why she was label by some netizen as bitchy.
For me, she is really funny. Her best moment was in family outing season 2 together with 2pm Taecyeon. If she and Taecyeon are together, it is perfect! Just look at the part in the Cabi song where both of them look at each other is like, OMG! Fans even call it the 'YoonTaec' moment.
Her unnie (the way she says it)really turns you off but in a hilarious way! In hello baby, the part where her partner in crime, Jessica and her prank Sooyoung and Tiffany was classic! It also show her cooking skills and it was the finest among her SNSD unnies. As one the Maknae(youngest), she always manage to prank her unnies!

2) Tiffany, Tiffany Hwang Mi-young, 21

How can you not resist Tiffany's smiling eyes? Seriously its hard! Honestly I don't really like her at the beginning. But I started watching more of SNSD, I think she is really like kind and nice unlike what the netizen deem her as proud and arrogant. In hello baby, she was voted the worst mom for 3 times! I have to say she is really retarded in the show but caught my attention in a good way and it showed her real personality. And of course she is a fantastic singer.
Her conversation in english with Jessica was so perfect! I dare say it is Master standard! In a reality show WIN WIN hosted by Taeyeon, she mimic Sooyoung where Sooyoung got drunk was simply fabulous!(Tiffany - Oh did you drink?' Sooyoung - What I not allowed to drink?).
You will know what I mean if you watch it! I think she and Yoona should keep their long hair instead of chopping it off. They both look weird with short hair!

3) Taeyeon, Kim Taeyeon, 21

The fearless leader of SNSD. Also a member of Danshin group (shorties). Yoona and her was my initial favorite but well Tiffany got me awestruck in hello baby. The part when she express her emotion in Horror movie factory was simply hilarious!
In episode 2 she and Sunny were to have a pillow fight to express their anger(both are danshins), and the theme for their fight was? 'DID YOU PUT INSOLES TO MATCH MY HIGHT?'. Oh My God! Its was so memorable that sometime I think of it I will laugh my heads off!
She and Sunny were truly the best group in Horror movie factory. Totally fearless and hilarious! As the lead singer of SNSD, she does not disappoint. I think she is the most versatile singer in the group. And, she came to singpore for holiday early this year! OMG! If I saw her I would be totally awestruck! I would probably not wash my hands for a week if I shook hands with her!

Just hope they come to Singapore! Soshi Hwaiting!

They are truly the best kpop girl band in Korea!

I didn't have time to blog in the holiday because i was too busy working and doing other stuff. It was before long that i realize that school was reopening.
During the holidays, i was working of course.
But I did go to a place that I would probably regret if I didn't went.
On Jul 2, I went to the Universal studios with my 3 colleague.
It was so much fun!
Too bad the battlestar galactica was not available.
Otherwise, its a perfect theme park in Singapore!
It was really fun.
I really enjoyed it.

Jul 10
Together with Lim and Christina, we went to Lynette's CO concert.
It was good and Lynette performed really well.

Next week it will be a hectic week as I have TPS CA and deadlines to meet.
Can't wait for the 17th for my pay and Iphone!

Today its spring cleaning day!
I don't know why the school decide to have one suddenly but it was fun!

With Aaron and Huixian.
It was good!
It was so filling that I can barely walk.
Of course dessert after the main course.

I was randomly walking around Toa Payoh and I happen to bump to Amirah Fatin.
She was working and i thought she look familiar for far as I'm not wearing my specs.
And guess what?
I walked further down to popular and OMG!
I saw Tohoshinki Best collection 2010!
I immediately got into action!
And within 5 minutes, I got mine.
But its quite expensive but it definitely worth the money.

Its Sony Alpha 230.
The price is $699.
OMG. Should I buy?
I guess I really have the seriously consider.
And I will have the work like crazy to buy it.
If I really really want it.

New class. New beginnings.
It was a little awkward because we were previously from different classes.
So it is difficult to communicate at first.
Things change when we had a clash with another class in S&W.
We bonded!
Strange but true.
Whatever it is, we are stuck with each other for a year whether we like it or not.

I am so into Tohoshinki/DBSK/TVXQ right now.
In fact I'm crazy over them.
I know its kinda late since they are breaking up.
But it is always not too late to indulge in their music.
They are legend man!
